CAPE TOWN, September 11, 2018 — The JET8 Foundation, in partnership with Mzansi Digital Republic Trust, today announced the launch of ICECAM.


Built with the purpose of supporting the underrepresented youth demographic and township communitiesacross South Africa, ICECAM allows its users to share branded selfies and videoswhile earning from their social influence.For every in-app like, comment, and share, users earn JETS, which can be used to redeem products online or over-the-counter across more than 2,500 retail stores in South Africa, including Shopriteand Checkers.Users are additionally rewarded JETS for cross-posting onto external social media networks.

ICECAM was additionally built to support I.C.E Media’s community building efforts, including an inter-school talent competition titled Diamonds in the Rough.
