If you’re in the mood for a home cooked meal in a vintage setting, listen up. Michael’s On Park is housed in the old Masonic Lodge in one of Clanwilliam’s oldest streets and serves delicious healthy meals – nothing is fried.
Situated on Main Road in an old Victorian house, Reinholds Restaurant serves an extended menu in a quiet atmosphere and personal attention is given to every guest. The restaurant is fully licensed and has a cosy bar for pre-drinks.
Traveller’s Rest Farm Stall and Restaurant
Traveller’s Rest Farm Stall and Restaurant is beautifully situated on the banks of the Brandewyn river, built of local stone like the rest of the buildings on the farm. Here Haffie Strauss serves mouthwatering traditional fare like mutton stew, waterblommetjie bredie, roosterkoek and other delicious South African favourites.
Velskoendraai Restaurant and Farm Stall
Velskoendraai is situated right at the entrance to Clanwilliam. They’re a family friendly restaurant with a lovely play area to keep the young ones occupied. Their innovative menu is set up to make use of fresh produce that is in season and locally sourced. They also offer a unique Rooibos tea tasting experience that’s not to be missed.
